Interim Marketing Project Manager
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Interim Marketing Project Manager to join the Brand Management & Content Experience team at a global company for a 12-month maternity cover. The team consists of 15 dedicated colleagues and plays a key role in shaping and maintaining a coherent and contemporary brand presence across global markets.
Brand Management functions as the backbone of the company’s brand, ensuring everything is in place to build and sustain a consistent, engaging, and recognizable brand that drives long-term salience. The team collaborates closely with regional markets to create desire for the company’s solutions by developing and executing the brand universe, global campaigns, and cross-market initiatives.
This role also involves developing key brand assets that highlight product features and benefits, advising the wider organization on asset production, and playing a leading role in shaping and executing the global social media strategy and content. A strong focus on ensuring a high-quality website content experience is also a key part of the scope.
Role
The Interim Marketing Project Manager will play a vital role in driving the operational excellence of the company’s global magazine content platform and supporting social media initiatives. This includes leading workflows, managing production timelines, and acting as the primary liaison across internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of projects related to the digital magazine and social media content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy Execution
• Plan and execute a strategic approach to article production that supports international outreach while maintaining consistency in tone and voice across all languages.
• Oversee the translation and localization process, ensuring culturally appropriate and high-quality content in close collaboration with regional teams.
• Ensure article content meets quality and SEO standards, aligns with brand messaging in each target language (FR, IT, GBI, BE, NL, DK, ES + CEE markets).
Project & Workflow Management
• Manage the full lifecycle of article production from planning to publication, ensuring a structured, timely, and efficient workflow.
• Recommend and apply relevant project management tools to monitor task assignments and track delivery milestones.
Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with design agencies and web development teams to implement UX and UI improvements, ensuring seamless integration with the broader content strategy.
• Facilitate clear, ongoing communication with internal stakeholders and external collaborators to support effective execution.
Quality Assurance & Optimization
• Establish quality control processes, including proofreading standards, SEO alignment, and brand tone compliance.
• Monitor content performance analytics to identify areas for improvement in engagement, reach, and conversion.
Profile
Multilingual & Cultural Competence
• Familiarity with multilingual content processes and a strong understanding of cultural nuances that influence communication across markets.
• Proficiency in at least one foreign language is an advantage.
Project Management
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex content or marketing projects from planning through delivery.
• Experience using project management and content collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing expectations and maintaining effective relationships with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
Editorial & Content Management
• Solid understanding of editorial workflows, digital publishing processes, and localization best practices.
Digital & UX/UI Coordination
• Knowledge of user experience principles and interface design.
• Ability to work closely with design and development teams to implement enhancements that elevate the user journey.
Attention to Detail & Organizational Strength
• High attention to detail to ensure content accuracy and consistency across all market versions.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple workstreams.
• Proactive in identifying issues in the production process and resolving them efficiently.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience working in content production, localization, or project management in a global or multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with digital marketing practices, including SEO and social media integration.
Location: On-site north of Copenhagen + remote options
Scope: Fulltime
Timing: May 2025 until May 2026
