Monica

Let us get to know you a bit better through a recent project

Over the course of six months I worked with a global healthcare company based in Copenhagen (on-site and remotely), on a variety of assets for their communication, ranging from social media posts to email designs.

The most interesting project during these months was designing a template for fact-sheets about allergies, balancing clarity of information with enticing graphics.

The main challenge was trying to create fresh and interesting content talking about a topic (allergies) that is often dry and not always inspiring, and I think I tackled this with lots of experimentation in the design and in close collaboration with the rest of the team.

Tell us about your skill stack

My career as designer and art director has led me to explore different areas of design practice, but I would say that my main focus at the moment is on motion and graphic design for content creation. I can work on anything from a short social media video to developing a brand look & feel and bring it to life on different channels.

One of my main passions is collage and moving image, an area I constantly develop as personal practice, but which I also try bringing into client projects when suitable.

At the moment a lot of my clients are in the advertising world, but I’ve also worked on events and print projects in the past.

We would love to hear which brands and agencies you have worked for

Some of the brands I worked on over the past few years have been: UNICEF, PepsiCo (various brands), klarify, Popsa, The Psychedelic Society, GIPHY, adidas and Levi’s.

I’ve worked with many agencies and marketing companies, including We Are Social, Facebook, Cult, Digitas LBi BBH in London, Black Paint Agency in Berlin, and AKQA, San Francisco.

Zoom in on values your clients loved you for

I am very good at communicating and listening to the client’s needs for a particular brief. I always ask lots of questions and make sure I have the best possible picture of what’s required. Critical thinking and time management are also things I always bring to a project.
