Closed – Brand Manager

We are looking for a freelance Brand Manager to join a global brand project for a large international company headquartered in Denmark. This role will be part of a project team responsible for developing and launching a refreshed global brand strategy and platform.

Working closely with the Senior Director and the project lead, the Brand Managerwill help with the development of the new brand platform while collaborating with an international agency and senior stakeholders across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping how a global masterbrand is positioned and activated across international markets.

Profile:
Strategic thinking and business acumen
• Ability to connect business objectives to brand strategy and translate complex narratives into clear, compelling positioning

Stakeholder collaboration and facilitation
• Proven ability to work across functions, build relationships, and drive alignment in a matrixed organization
• Confidence facilitating workshops and discussions with senior stakeholders from di-verse areas of the business

Brand and marketing foundations
• Experience working with brand positioning, messaging frameworks, or go-to-market strategies in commercial, product marketing, or brand roles
• Understanding of how brands activate across channels – from B2B engagement to consumer-facing touchpoints

Practical execution mindset
• Hands-on approach to getting things done – comfortable moving from strategy to toolkit development to roll-out execution
• Project management skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams during high-intensity phases

Communication and enablement
• Strong presentation and training delivery skills – you'll be enabling teams across multiple markets to adopt the new brand platform
• Ability to create clear, practical guidance that helps non-marketing teams apply brand frameworks effectively

Global and digital perspective
• Appreciation for how brand works across diverse markets and cultural contexts
• Understanding of digital-first and social-first brand activation (experience with digital platforms, social media, or content strategy is a plus)

Scope: Full-time freelance - 6 months - requires freelance setup with own CVR number
Timing: Start - June
Location: On-site Copenhagen area + remote days
