Freelance Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Digital Marketing Manager to support the digital marketing team of an international healthcare company. The role covers planning, reporting, and market coordination across 11 European markets and two therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate is a broad digital marketing profile with strong project management and stakeholder management skills, solid knowledge across digital channels, and particular strength within paid media.

Role
* Support digital marketing strategy and planning across 11 European markets.
* Coordinate digital marketing activities and priorities across markets and internal teams.
* Drive and support paid media initiatives, which will be a key focus of the role.
* Prepare and consolidate reporting and performance insights across markets.
* Participate in and facilitate market meetings, ensuring clear follow-up and alignment.
* Work closely with internal specialists across paid media, marketing automation, CRO, and other digital disciplines.
* Manage projects and stakeholders across multiple markets, ensuring progress, structure, and timely delivery.
* Gradually take on a market-facing role and act as a key digital marketing contact for local teams.

Profile

* Broad experience within digital marketing, ideally in an international or multi-market setup.
* Strong understanding of paid media, marketing automation, CRO, and other relevant digital channels.
* Hands-on paid media campaign execution is not required, but the candidate must have a strong strategic understanding of the different channels, including their respective strengths, weaknesses, roles, and limitations.
* Able to assess how different channels work together and build an effective channel mix based on objectives, audiences, and market needs.
* Comfortable working closely with an internal team of specialists who are responsible for hands-on campaign execution.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Structured, proactive, and able to work independently in a complex international environment.
* Experience from pharma, healthcare, or other regulated industries is considered an advantage.

 

Start: September 2026
Scope:  Approximately 20 hours per week to begin with, with the possibility of increasing the scope
Timing: The assignment is expected to run until the end of the year. With the possibility of extension thereafter.
Location: Flexible/remote setup. Remote from within the EU. Poland, UK or Denmark preferred.
