Freelance Senior Marketing Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Marketing Consultant for one of Denmark’s top 5 companies, a truly global organization with headquarters in the Copenhagen area and representation in more than 80 markets worldwide. In this role, you will partner closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to shape the company’s next global marketing strategy and plan.
This is a freelance assignment with an immediate start. It offers the opportunity to operate at the highest strategic level within a complex, international B2B environment and requires a consultant with proven senior-level expertise from similar global organizations.
Role
• Lead the process of creating a comprehensive global marketing plan in close collaboration with the CMO.
• Provide strategic guidance on customer acquisition, retention, and brand positioning across international B2B markets.
• Structure marketing initiatives around key industry verticals, trade fairs, and major global events.
• Align strategy and initiatives within a complex organizational setup of divisions, business units, and customer segments.
• Deliver clear, actionable frameworks and recommendations to guide the client’s global marketing execution.
Profile
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic marketing plans for large, international B2B organizations.
• Prior experience as CMO, Marketing Director, or Senior Consultant advising top-tier global companies.
• Strong ability to manage complex processes end-to-end and translate strategy into execution-ready plans.
• Skilled at inspiring, challenging, and influencing C-level stakeholders with fresh perspectives.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, able to navigate complex matrix organizations.
• Familiarity with international campaign planning, cross-market marketing structures, and brand governance.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
