Senior .NET Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer for our Client in the manufacturing industry
The consultant will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting a secure certificate provisioning solution, enabling secure device onboarding and certificate lifecycle management. The role involves hands-on backend development using .NET 8/10 and ASP.NET Core APIs, combined with Azure services, X.509/other certificates and Windows Services.
The ideal candidate is a Senior .NET Backend Developer who is comfortable working across application development and support, Azure cloud services, certificates, DevOps and production environments, with a strong focus on security, reliability and integration solutions. Following an initial on-site introduction, remote work is possible.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and maintain .NET 8/10 backend services, Windows Services, and ASP.NET Core APIs.
• Support X.509/other certificate generation, validation, storage, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain integrations with Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot production issues across application, infrastructure, and certificate-related workflows.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes using Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Participation in clarification of requirements and coordination with stakeholders.
• Participation in “production rollout”.
Qualification criteria (Must have)
• Strong experience with C#, .NET 8/10, ASP.NET Core, and Windows Services.
• Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of X.509/other certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of async programming, dependency injection, file handling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines, and Windows Server environments.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)
• 5+ years of .NET backend development experience.
• Familiarity with OpenSSL, certificate automation, and secure credential management.
• Experience with production monitoring, observability, and enterprise integrations.
