Strategic Buyer, Sweden

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Buyer for a business-critical assignment within an international industrial and technical environment.
In this role, you will drive strategic procurement activities with a strong focus on supplier management, sourcing strategies, negotiations, tenders, and long-term value creation. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers both locally and globally
• Manage supplier relationships and establish supplier strategies based on business needs
• Manage multiple tenders and projects in parallel
• Take commercial responsibility towards suppliers, including negotiations and contract management
• Support efficient and compliant purchasing processes
• Drive process improvements and standardization in line with global guidelines
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional and international teams
• Promote best practices within HSE, business ethics, compliance, and procurement

Your Background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience within procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, tender management, negotiations, contracts, and supplier management
• Good understanding of financial structures and supply markets
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools
• Technical understanding from education or experience in a technical/industrial environment
• Knowledge of IT category management
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as in cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Fluent in Swedish and English
