Freelance UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a skilled Freelance UX/UI Specialist to support a global company in the ongoing development and optimization of its digital web customer experience across both B2B and B2C audiences.

This role combines strategic UX thinking with hands-on UI design and will play a key part in shaping scalable digital experiences across a complex web ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating customer needs and business requirements into intuitive, user-centered solutions while working closely with stakeholders, designers, and development teams. The assignment is initially expected to run for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Role

* Translate customer needs, business requirements, and customer journey insights into clear, scalable digital solutions.
* Define and improve user flows, information architecture, navigation structures, and interaction patterns across the web experience.
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs that support both user needs and business objectives.
* Ensure consistency and scalability by working within established design systems and digital experience frameworks.
* Document user flows, requirements, states, edge cases, and design specifications to support successful implementation.
* Collaborate closely with customer journey specialists, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
* Present and communicate design recommendations, building stakeholder alignment through clear rationale and user-centered thinking.
* Support quality assurance of delivered solutions and ensure a high standard across digital touchpoints.
* Identify opportunities to improve existing design patterns, user experiences, and digital journeys.
* Work within agile delivery processes and contribute to defining and tracking work across design and development teams.

Profile

* Strong experience within UX and UI design, digital product design, or customer experience design.
* Proven ability to take the process from customer insights and business needs through to the final design solution.
* Experienced in user flows, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual interface design.
* Strong understanding of designing scalable digital experiences for complex websites or digital platforms.
* Highly proficient in Figma.
* Experience working within established design systems.
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or Jira for defining requirements and tracking progress.
* Experience with Miro is an advantage but not a requirement.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
* Fluent English communication skills.
* Own CVR number

Scope: Full-time freelance/interim assignment.

Timing: Start as soon as possible. 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension.

Location: Hybrid setup with a combination of on-site presence in the Greater Copenhagen area and remote flexibility.
