Freelance Marketing Project Manager – Full-time, on-site in Copenhagen or Stockholm
For a renowned global entertainment company with Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen, we are looking for an experienced and self-driven freelance Marketing Project Manager for a full-time freelance contract running until the end of June 2026. The role is on-site, based either in Copenhagen or Stockholm, depending on your location.
You will join the Nordic marketing team, which is responsible for coordinating campaigns across the Nordics for both streaming titles and selected major theatrical releases. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the launch and promotion of recognized entertainment titles, while collaborating closely with both local and international stakeholders.
As a Freelance Marketing Project Manager, you will support Nordic planning and coordination, as well as media and social campaigns. The role involves close collaboration with marketing managers, media agencies, and digital and creative teams, ensuring that both paid and organic marketing activities are aligned, on-brand, and effectively executed. The below list consists of typical assignments but is not exhaustive.
Key Responsibilities includes:
Campaign Management
• Manage media campaigns.
• Create media agency briefs and oversee the approval process.
• Develop and present final media plans to the marketing manager.
• Manage organic campaigns, including influencer activations in collaboration with the digital team.
• Handle budget management.
• Conduct campaign follow-ups and report on performance highlights.
Coordination & Communication
• Serve as the point of contact with the in-house digital team, managing assets, briefings, and coordination.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brief, review, and approve assets.
• Prepare and review creative briefs for both paid and organic campaigns.
• Manage internal workflows, timelines, and campaign documentation.
• Support ad hoc marketing activities for marketing managers and coordinators.
Social Media (Organic & Paid)
• Order and coordinate organic social assets.
• Manage and align organic and paid social content.
• Brief digital and creative teams on social media asset needs.
• Approve and upload final creative assets and campaign materials.
Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in media planning and/or digital marketing (entertainment or media agency industry preferred).
• Strong understanding of both paid and organic social media strategies.
• Good with numbers – comfortable working with budgets and media buying
• Excellent project management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in at least one Nordic language: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish, and fluent in English.
• To take on this freelance role, you must be set up with a company tax number — or plan to register for one

Duration: Until end of June 2026
Scope: Full-time (5 days per week)
Location: On-site in Copenhagen or Stockholm
