Freelance CRO Strategist – Maternity Cover (Full-time, Hybrid – Hørsholm)

On behalf of our client, a global and well known company, we are looking for a Freelance CRO Strategist to join their Global Web Experience team.

In this role, you will take the lead in optimizing digital customer journeys through data-led experimentation, performance insights, and UX/UI enhancements. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams based in Denmark and Hungary, working to identify conversion opportunities and implement effective testing strategies that elevate the digital customer experience across multiple European markets.

Role
• Analyze user behavior and performance data using GA4, Hotjar, and PowerBI to identify conversion opportunities
• Monitor KPIs and deliver performance insights to support continuous improvement
• Translate data into reports and optimization recommendations for stakeholders
• Define and drive the CRO strategy across various European markets and digital platforms
• Design and manage A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes
• Optimize UX and UI to reduce friction and enhance conversion throughout the customer journey
• Collaborate with design, content, development, and product teams to align testing and improvements
• Stay current with CRO tools, methodologies, and user psychology trends

Profile
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in CRO, digital analytics, or web optimization
• Proficiency with GA4, PowerBI, and Hotjar
• Familiarity with Sitecore and Azure DevOps is a plus
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a bias toward experimentation
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and end-to-end digital journeys
• Effective communicator with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable navigating cross-functional collaboration in an international setup
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to testing and performance tracking
• Fluent in English
• Tools & Platforms: GA4, PowerBI, Hotjar, Sitecore, Azure DevOps
• Freelance position - valid CVR number a requirement

• Duration: Approx. 10 months
• Workload: Full-time (37 hours/week)
• Location: Hybrid – based in Hørsholm with the option to work remotely 2 days per week
