Freelance web project manager - Poland
For a global pharmaceutical company we are looking for a freelance web project manager to support in establishing and launching websites for a new product. The Web PM will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating cross-functional teams (designers, developers, content specialists, QA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee website projects from concept to launch.
- Coordinate with designers, developers, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure websites are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
- Proactively identify potential risks and roadblocks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients regarding progress, issues, and updates.
- Review and test websites before launch to ensure functionality, usability, and responsiveness.
- Protect project quality by enforcing standards and best practices (UI/UX, SEO, accessibility, performance).
- Maintain documentation, project timelines, and task tracking in project management tool - Asana
- Provide post-launch support and maintenance coordination if needed.
- Suggest improvements in workflow, processes, and tools to optimize project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Web Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, CMS platforms likWordPress, Shopify, etc.) and design processes.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to protect project quality while balancing deadlines and resources.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4) is a plus.
- Mid/High-level experience: able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualities:
- Problem-solver mindset with a proactive approach.
- Ability to prioritize and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and UX/UI best practices.
- Team player who can support, guide, and sometimes challenge team members to maintain high standards.
- Pharma/regulated industry experience a bonus
- Language - professional proficiency in English
- Registered in Poland as a self-employed business and holds a valid NIP (Tax Identification Number) - mandatory
Timing: Start as soon as possible
Scope: ~20 hours a week until end of the year with possible extension into 2026
Location: Remote from anywhere in Poland. You will be connected to the Krakow office.
